As the Sales Manager you will be accountable for leading an Inbound & Outbound Call Centre sales operation (up to 10 Direct Reports and 150 FTE) responsible for developing new business for a range of products and services to B2C segments across the UK.  This will involve the development of the B2C Channel strategy and overall direction of the call centre sales operation.

About the Role:

  • Accountable for the performance and delivery of targets for the B2C sales operation (Inbound & Outbound)
  • Devise, develop, implement and lead sales strategy and to develop a best in class operation.
  • To lead, develop and coach direct reports to continually improve sales capability
  • Performance Management and Reporting
  • To work with other Sales Managers to create strategic and operational plans to improve the skills, competence and performance of all sales teams.
  • Responsible for driving efficiencies and process improvements in order to reduce operational costs improve sales effectiveness.
  • Budget management

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven background of Managing and leading a dedicated Call Centre Sales operation
  • Proven experience of B2C Selling.
  • Proven experience in leading Inbound & Outbound Sales Teams.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills, combined with experience of effective sales management techniques and practices within a regulated call centre operation.
  • Proven background of working in a regulated environment
  • Commercially aware with excellent strategy development skills a
