About the Role
Our client are a young, dynamic financial services organisation who have a very ambitious 5 year plan.
This unique role requires a phenomenal Sales Manager who not only has a background in Contact Centre Sales Management at a strategic high level and is used to working with ‘C’ level and board level personnel but ALSO someone who has the desire and capability to lead a very hands on operation (which will mean sitting with agents, listening to calls and changing direction at the drop of a hat) – this is a unique post and please don't misunderstand, this is a Sales management role, not service, not in any way!
Our client are wishing to recruit the kind of person the organisation will need in 3 years time, however, that person has to understand and appreciate the organisation right now is small and requires the hands on sales management approach only a motivated, inspirational people person can deliver.
It’s likely you will have moved past being as hands on as this role initially requires, however, if you still have the capability and desire to be at the coalface this could be the role for you.
You’ll have a B2C or B2B background in Contact Centre Sales management, you’ll have enjoyed demonstrable success in your previous posts, most likely in difficult markets (if you have a FS / Insurance background it would be advantageous), and you’ll have experience of either working in the BPO / Outsourcing industry or you’ll have experience of working with outsource partners.
This organisation while small at present are part of a large worldwide organisation with excellent credibility, financial backing and superb people.
Please only express an interest if you can demonstrate your ability to work at the 2 ends of the spectrum – strategically with the board and in a hands on manner with the frontline sales agents and Team Leaders.
