Contact Centre Sales Lead
About the Role
Joining a rapidly expanding Utilities organisation the successful person into this post will be responsible for directly managing the sales Contact Centre operation through a growing number of Team Managers and their teams.
Desk Based (Contact Centre) sales experience is a requirement of this post, we are unable to consider a someone who only possesses ‘field sales’ experience.
Being responsible for the successful operation of a sales area; ensuring the highest level of service for our customers; maximising customer profitability and providing leadership that promotes and encourages team work.
This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of the Sales department and plays a vital role in proactively growing the business and building the foundation to maximise profitability on an ongoing basis.
Working with the Senior Management team key responsibilities include sales planning and forecasting, driving individual product profitability and optimising sales volumes, expanding opportunities into untapped product portfolios and developing sales propositions. The jobholder will possess a deep understanding, and proven track record, in optimising the strategic and tactical levers of a highly successful and rapidly growing sales channel.
With a background of successful Sales Management preferably in Utilities the successful candidate will lead by example, providing inspirational leadership to the Managers and Sales personnel who report.
