Interim Collections Consultant
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Collections Consultant to join a progressive business in a period of rapid change and development.
This contract role will last for between 3 and 6 months and will be responsible for leading the highly complex operation through a major period of process and system changes while maintaining the energy and enthusiasm of the growing team.
You will be a high energy individual, a brilliant people tactician with a real ability to lead and inspire large teams of people and will be used to rolling your sleeves up to get involved at the grass roots level.
In general terms, the organisation is looking for a hands-on, result-orientated and customer-focused person with strong commercial experience in a high volume Collections contact centre. Must have a firm, but open-minded approach, geared to establishing a good rapport with call centre staff and Senior Management.
A dynamic leader with excellent people management skills you will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the operation through an exceptional and motivating management style
- Manage the operational relationship with 3rd party service providers through regular meetings; monitor their performance against an agreed SLA and work jointly to improve performance
- Implementing strategies, collection processes and workflow procedures / changes in conjunction with the COO and Head of Risk to maximise the collection ratio and the Group’s profitability.
- To development and implementation of Collection strategies to achieve the Group’s objectives.
