About the Role


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a successful background of leading large scale accounts within an Outsourced operation.


Our client are wishing to appoint an Outsourcing Account Director into their rapidly expanding team based in Barcelona within a multilingual Contact Centre.


Basic salary of €90,000-€100,000 + Excellent Benefits

The ideal candidate should be an experienced People Manager with a strong Account Management background gained within an outsourcing environment. You must have a proven track record in leadership, strategic development and delivery to the bottom line. 

You will play an integral role in driving and developing strategic plans, ensuring the constant delivery of SLAs and striving for continuous improvement in order to grow sales within the business unit, all whilst inspiring and motivating a team in order to achieve consistently high levels of service as well as managing Clients expectations..

Reporting into the Managing Director you will take responsibility for managing, developing and adding extensive value to the business of various clients, including major global players in a variety of industries. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the relationship with your given clients, becoming an expert in their business and market.

The role of the Outsourcing Account Director is key to the successful delivery of services and client satisfaction and will be the first point of contact with the client and owns not just the day-to-day execution of activities but the ongoing retention and development of all key areas.

Profile Summary -


  • To maintain and develop client relationships, including the management of regular meetings.  To review performance of the operation, both financially and against agreed Key Result Areas.  To provide input to all client quarterly reviews and formal reports.
  • To resolve/’trouble-shoot’ client operational issues and/or complaints as quickly as possible, ensuring required training or process improvements are implemented as appropriate.
  • To develop and implement strategic plans to grow sales and profit within the Business Unit.  To provide second line client management seeing clients at regular intervals and holding annual and quarterly strategic review meetings that demonstrate understanding of client needs and critically review the services provided. 
  • To control budgets and resources in line with department financial plan. 
  • To maintain and develop client relationships, including the management of regular meetings. 
  • To lead, train, motivate and develop direct reports and to ensure the operation is effectively managed by the team being fully briefed, trained and equipped to fulfil the set tasks
