About the Role

We are seeking a T&C administrator to support the Field based Training and Competency Manager.  Previous experience of Equity Release advice is not essential; however, you should have a proven track record in Financial Services, T&C or compliance.This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is hardworking, professional and wants to become an integral part of a specialist company in the later life area of financial advice. The Role Reports to the T&C Manager, you will be trained and coached, as well as attending Training and Competency Supervisory courses to the standards of the company  To review and report on case files of advisers providing customers with advice on equity release, mortgages, protective insurance policies and other general insurance products.

Duites
Manage, report and monitor the progress and feedback given by the field based training & competency supervisors on recorded one to one observations.
Recording and observing field advisers by listening or watching live or recorded observations.Contribute towards a robust company Training & Competence Scheme.
Various administration tasks associated with the company data base electronic record system.
Implementing, developing, and overseeing control systems to prevent or asses risk when dealing with violations of legal guidelines, FCA polices and internal policies.
Supervise a team with a view to developing and growing the adviser team to service the growing adviser numbers and proactively building a robust T&C department to minimise risk to the firm.
To keep up to date with legislation, regulation and best practices and working with the compliance department to ensure adherence to all FCA policies and procedures.
Develop effective training programs on compliance matters including appropriate training for new and existing advisers.
Day to day managing, motivating, delegating tasks, and providing feedback to the individuals in the compliance team.
Presentations of Training & Competence issues at CPD meetings.
 
We are looking for someone with the following skillset:

IFA/Mortgage/Equity release qualified
Ideally a background in IFA, Equity Release or Mainstream Mortgages
An In-depth knowledge of FCA industry’s standards and regulations
Experience working within financial services and financial advisers
Works well under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to build relationships and to implement change
