Application Support Analyst

About the Role

We are actively searching for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a fast paced ever changing environment - becoming a subject matter expert to the companies in house IT applications.  You will provide insight and analysis to help the team understand the software.
This role is currently home based due to Covid-19, the role eventually will return to the companies site in Berkshire.

Role requirements:

  • Fully accountable for the Service Desk (Zendesk) tickets to completion and provide customer focused feedback.
  • Creating reports using SQL and managing SSRS reports for the senior stakeholders.
  • Ideally you will have experience working with 1st/ 2nd tier application support.
  • A history of supporting large multi-functional teams - troubleshooting application UI and any backend database issues
  • Extensive experience in IT problem solving position
  • Ideally experienced in working in IT development/ engineering teams.
Key Experience:
  • Experience of T-SQL/ MySQL/ SQL DBA/ SSRS/ Excel.
  • Exposure to cloud based technology - (Windows Azure/ PaaS/ Iaas)
  • Ideally some working knowledge of LAN, WAN and WAD
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and the ability to use information to develop creative value add solutions.
