Claims Manager
Staffordshire

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility of team performance across a variety of metrics. You will also be dealing directly with external clients so strong relationship management experience is essential. This organisation provides a flexible working scheme and will require at least two days per week on site when safe to do so.
 
Key Accountabilities:

  • Leading, coaching and advising team on a day to day basis to drive positive engagement and empowerment of the team
  • Continually seek to improve performance of team
  • Identify training needs and take decisions relating to individual’s personal development
  • Work closely with your team to ensure all aspects of the claims are being dealt with following the correct procedures and guidelines
  • To constantly seek to improve the service and develop innovative solutions
  • Handling escalated complaints and issues relating to supply chain partners
  • Production of daily management information and team statistics
  • Liaise with clients and other third parties in a professional and efficient manner
  • Carry out other duties and special projects in addition to key tasks which are within your skills
Experience
  • Team Management experience essential
  • Experience in coaching and supporting members of staff
  • Previous experience in the Insurance Industry – Desired
  • CII qualified to Cert CII level – desirable but not essential
  • 3rd party relationship management experience
