DerbyThis is a stimulating role that will provide variety and challenge your ability to deliver innovative solutions, continuously learning new skills along the way. As a Full Stack Developer, working closely with the Head of Technical Services and two Senior Software Developers, your role will allow you to directly influence the company’s development road map.
You will be encouraged to grow as a software developer and you will have the opportunity to nurture and mentor other members of the team. You’ll have variety in your work, supporting and enhancing existing products as well as designing and developing new solutions. The type of technologies you’ll use include; ASP.NET within the .NET 4 framework, SQL Server, Telerik, AJAX and JQuery.

Full Stack Developer – The person:Building web applications and APIs in a Microsoft tech stack and using an Agile methodology, you will be experienced in C#, SQL Server, ASP.Net and Web APIs. What’s equally important is a can-do attitude and desire to learn – continually making use of emerging technologies. You will have a strong eye for detail, good communication skills and be well organised yet flexible in your approach.
Essential skills/ Experience/ Job related knowledge:
- .Net Framework 4.5 or later
- C# / VB.Net
- Web Forms / MVC
- Web API
- HTML / HTML5
- SQL Server 2014 onwards
- Visual Studio 2019
Desirable experience/ Job related knowledge:
- .Net Core
- GIT Source control / VSOnline
- Writing users stories
- ORMs including Npoco / Entity framework
- Scrum, Agile
