About the Role
We are actively recruiting for someone who has proven experience of working in a busy Human Resources department. This role will suit someone who can confidently work using their initiative and support a busy team.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing a high volume of end - to - end ER casework.
This role will be home based with very occasional travel to our clients office in Preston.
About the Role:
- Support the regional HR Manager across all business areas
- Provide Employee Relation support across the business
- Provide effective and professional HR support to all employees
- Support with major business change, to include TUPE
- Ensure all HR matters are handled professionally and in line legislative and company requirements
- Advise and coach managers on policy and procedures
- Provide MI reporting
- Deliver manager training
- Drive best practice
- Build relationships across the business
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience of working in a busy HR department
- Strong ER experience, dealing with the full range casework including – Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence management, performance & flexible working
- Experience of TUPE & Redundancy
- Strong written & & verbal communication skills
- Advising & coaching managers from junior – senior level
- Highly organised
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Excellent understanding of employee law
- Working within a fast – paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to proactive work alone or with team support
- It would be advantageous to have CIPD level 3 and above
- Ability to work under pressure
