About the Role
Cactus Search are recruiting for a Community manager for a growing business based in Bicester.
2 days in the office and 3 from home.
Responsible for content generation and community moderation, the successful applicant will live and breathe social media. From populating the calendar with fresh and useful posts to responding to every comment, the community manager will be solely responsible.
To better serve our customers we are seeking a skilled writer who, in addition to preparing social posts, can also produce longer form content to help our audience understand the product offering and the technology behind it.
The Community Manager – Europe will need to be committed to serving our customers and resilient to customer complaints.
Grow and maintain our global social media accounts creating content and moderating comments (currently, but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn).
Produce engaging content for the Facebook pages (currently, but not limited to UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria).
Moderate and respond to all comments on the above-mentioned accounts by directing people to further information, where/how to buy and dealing with any customer issues directly.
Write deeper content for the website that can then be promoted through social channels.
Adapt and develop the social media strategy as the brand evolves.
Work closely with our inhouse Graphic Designers to produce visual content to accompany the written information in the appropriate format for each channel. - Regularly report on the impact and progress of social media activity.
Work with our performance marketing experts, both inhouse and agency to coordinate paid and organic campaigns.
Candidate Profile
2 years’ experience in a social media or customer support role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, both creatively and numerically.
Creative flair and a passion for social media and content creation.
Ability to think global, while acting local.
Excellent planning and organisation skills.
Experience of social media planning and scheduling tools.
Competency using Adobe Photoshop.
Experience using Salesforce for customer care and/or lead management.
Experience using online listening tools to provide insights and inspiration.
