HR Advisor
Milton Keynes

About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our client in Milton Keynes on a full time, permanent basis.

The HR Advisor will work in partnership with the HR Manager and Managers at various levels across the business for all ER related matters and would be responsible for a specific business areas within a fast-paced Contact Centre environment.

Duties:

  • Act as first point of contact for enquiries from managers, employees and advise accordingly
  • Manage Long Term Sickness, GP reports, Occupational Health, Maternity/Paternity and other family leave
  • Assist and advise managers on disciplinary process and other ER issues
  • Update, manage and maintain HRIS
  • Have a hands-on, pragmatic approach and interface effectively with employees and business leaders at all levels
  • Prepare, as required, management reports on employee-related data to assist with the management and development of staff
  • Work with agility to function in a fast-moving contact centre environment
  • Support the HR Manager in reviewing and renewing company policies, procedures and other related documents to ensure the business is compliant with all legislative requirements.
  • Work effectively within the HR Team to deliver new initiatives/processes/training
  • Ensure all employee documentation is appropriately recorded and stored within the employee’s personnel file to meet auditing requirements
 
Experience Required:
  • Proven track record as an experienced HR Advisor or HR Generalist within a fast paced Contact Centre environment
  • ER / Employment Law knowledge and experience
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Adhering to data protection and confidentiality
  • CIPD qualified to minimum level 5
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist in a Corporate arena
  • Minimum of 1 years’ outsourcing and/or financial experience
  • Strong IT skills, skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages and experienced in working with HR packages/databases.
  • Able to work independently and pro-actively within specified guidelines or processes
