Facilities Specialist (H&S)
Milton Keynes

About the Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an innovative, positive, and professional Facilities Specialist to join our clients Team in Milton Keynes! You will serve as primary point of contact for all functions and processes within Facilities!

Responsibilities in this role:

  • On site Facilities Management Helpdesk, ensuring all requests are actioned
  • Available for out of hours onsite business functions and emergency calls when required
  • Investigate and maintain records of onsite Accidents / Incident reports
  • Conduct New Starter H&S Induction tours covering physical security, Health & Safety.
  • Supervision of third party contractors and suppliers undertaking FM works on site
  • Responsible for checking and approving vendor Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS)
  • Maintain company compliance with Health & Safety regulations including employee H&S training
  • Work with the Facilities Manager from initial planning stage through to completion on office refurbishment and office relocation projects to support business function and expectations
 
Experience required:
  • Office based Health & Safety experience
  • Strong inter-personal skills working effectively with staff at all levels
  • Ability to work flexibly, use own initiative and work as part of a team in a pressurised environment
  • PC literate with a good understanding of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent understanding of FM industry best practices and standards
  • IOSH / NEBOSH or other relevant H&S qualification (Desirable)
