Collections Advisor
Essex Road

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Collections Advisor who is experienced in collecting overdue debt based in th Essex area. This is a service role, you will be integral to our business and you will be helping the individual reconcile their outstanding issues.

You’ll be speaking to customers by Phone and Email.

Basic salary is up to £21,000 with an OTE of (£24k to £25k)

Role Requires:

• You will be taking inbound calls, in accordance with the business internal SLA’s 
• Treat all callers professionallyand with a high level of service
• Collect payments for the indivduals, on behalf of our clients.
• Negotiate and set up payment arrangements for the customer, in line with client criteria.
• Identify possible cases of vulnerability and take the correct action to support them.
• Complete outbound and credit control calls and duties.
• Update the business systems with detailed notes and carry out all associated actions.
• Deal with all account queries and complaints, obtain full details, then pass them to relevant departments.
• Follow the collections processes and procedures for the business.
• Escalate cases to an appropriate senior member of of your management team.

Ideal person:
• Great communication skills and listening skills, which you can demonstrate from any previous collections roles.
• Loves working and interacting with people in fast paced environment
• Someone who can get the best from every collection situation
• Loves learning, and takes every opportunity to have feedback and use it to improve
• Enjoys the challenge of working to targets and seeing your performance improve
• Is comfortable using a PC and speaking over the phone
