Business Development Manager B2B (Hybrid working)

About the Role

I'm currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fantastic, rapidly expanding business based in Birkenhead, Merseyside.

The Successful candidate will have previous business development, telesales/ telemarketing or outbound sales experience within a B2B environment, and will have experience of working across all aspects of the outbound sales process.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 until 17.30, No evenings or weekends


        Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and engaging with potential new customers through a variety of direct outbound communications (phone, email, LinkedIn etc).
  • Running effective discovery meetings to better understand our prospects’ goals, challenges and problems.
  • Hosting online demos to potential customers to demonstrate how the Product can provide value by solving their problems and challenges and helping them achieve their goals.
  • Closing new sales whilst managing a busy pipeline of deals at different stages in the processKey Skills Required:

  • Previous business development, telesales/ telemarketing or outbound sales experience within a B2B environment
  • Experience of working across all aspects of the outbound sales process.
  • Experience of selling software products or services would be a bonus
  • Always look at new innovative opportunities for clients/customers and identifying more effective and efficient ways of working
  • Ability to manage Client expectations successfully and build good relationships
  • Communicate openly, give feedback constructively, listen respectfully and show understanding of the needs/commitments of others
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and sell products and services
  • Self motivated and organised
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan
