Head of IT Operations & Infrastructure (Hybrid)
North Somerset

About the Role

On behalf of a very large, complex and fast paced business we are seeking an exceptionally talented Head of IT Infrastructure to lead a growing team across multiple geographical locations and will have overall responsibility for the Operation of Technical Infrastructure within UK, and offshore operations which account for some 10,000 staff.
 
The successful candidate will have a solid background of IT leadership within a fast paced, constantly changing environment with large numbers of locations and staffing. The role is multi-faceted, some of the key elements are:

• Leadership of the Telephony, Network, Systems, Desktop Disciplines
• Leading Enterprise Architecture Design and Implementation Projects (CCaaS Migration, Azure Migration, O365 Tenant Migration, SDWAN Deployment, VDI Migration, zScaler Migration).
• Rapid Expansion of offshores IT Infrastructure
• Consolidating Partnership Relationships and Driving Increased Value

Strategically leading a growing team you will act as the interface between the technical support teams, management peers, key business stakeholders and the Director of IT, Security, Risk and Compliance, ensuring focus to maintain compliant, forward thinking  environments.
 
You’ll  proactively work with peers to achieve continuous service improvement and will be instrumental in driving service excellence across a broad operating model.
 
You will be a highly experienced IT professional, used to working within a fast paced operation you’ll be a collaborator, used to leading teams (direct and matrix) to achieve common goals.
